Though East Cooper offers a number of qualified dentists, people choose Daniel Island Family Dentistry in particular for their high quality dental care, ever-available doctor, relaxing, luxurious office, and professional, caring staff. Dr. Les Neville decided upon the Daniel Island location of his new practice because he wanted his office to not only be located conveniently, but to embody the quality of dentistry he offers.
A graduate of both the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine and the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Neville takes great pride in providing only the highest quality dentistry. As a member of the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, the Charleston Dental Society, the South Carolina Dental Implant Society, and the Coastal Dental Study Club, he's well versed in the latest dentistry breakthroughs. A strong believer in continuing education, he and his team travel to numerous conferences throughout the year to aid in providing the best that dentistry has to offer.
As a result, Daniel Island Family Dentistry offers its "guests" such cutting edge technology as digital radiography, diagnostic digital imaging; diagnodent laser technology, air abrasion, digital intra-oral photography and computerized smile imaging. Since Daniel Island Family Dentistry takes infection control seriously, they have Invested in a state-of-the-art Triangle sterilization center, as well as point-of-source water bottles to ensure water purity.
The moment guests walk through the door; team members greet them warmly by name, and offer them refreshments. Guests are not asked to sign in; there is no sliding glass window, only open space. Daniel Island Family Dentistry's guests are always treated to a friendly staff, relaxing Feng Shui music, and calming aromatherapy.
"My designer worked her magic with my practice," Dr. Neville explains. "She used a combination of earth tones, natural maple, bamboo, leather, and antiques to create a warm and inviting experience for my guests." Daniel Island Family Dentistry is also different in the sense that it offers aesthetic, restorative, preventative care; periodontal therapy; tooth-colored, composite restorations; all-porcelain veneers, crowns, and bridges; in-office and take-home whitening; dental implants; TMJ Therapy and treatment; limited oral surgery; and endodontics. They also offer guests amenities and interesting extras to make each visit enjoyable and relaxing.

Gone are the days when a trip to the dentist was a terrifying experience. Today Dr. Neville's guests experience a heated back massage in leather dental chairs, and an extensive CD library with wireless headsets to make listening more enjoyable. Guests may also choose a DVD for longer procedures. Each treatment room comes equipped with nitrous oxide, and multiple flat screen monitors so that guests can see what the dentist sees. Even better, each visit ends with a lightly scented, moist hot towel and choice of soothing lip balm. It makes an afternoon at the dentist seem like a day at the spa.

It's not about
how many patients
I can see in a day,
but about whose life
I've changed
by giving them
the smile
they've always
dreamed of.
